Why does my pet kitten keep scratching its body?
If your domestic kitten is constantly scratching its body, it means the cat is itchy and may have a skin disease. Owners can carefully observe the cat's skin; if patches of ringworm appear, it indicates a fungal infection, requiring antifungal medication. 
If black spots appear on your cat's fur, and the fur turns blood-red when combed and placed in water, it indicates that your cat has fleas and needs deworming. If your cat has increased dandruff, it means its skin is too dry, and you should give your cat more water and try a different shampoo.
